XYLAN PTFE 1070
With an organic solvent base and exhibiting high corrosion resistance properties, Xylan 1070 is an ideal low friction coating meant for fasteners. These are primarily used on fasteners – as a top layer coating to serve as a barrier coating when electro zinc/phosphate is used as a base coat or with any other primer treatment in order to deliver good adhesion.
Properties of Xylan 1070
- Xylan 1070 comes in a variety of colors.
- They are composite materials.
- Xylan coatings are a result of the combination of lubricants with the least COF and high temperature-resistant organic polymers. These ingredients blend together to form plastic alloys that exhibit unique properties.
- For an operating temperature between -195ºC and 260ºC, these coatings can be used continuously
- For an operating temperature between -195ºC and 285ºC, these coatings can be used intermittently

PTFE coated Hex Nuts
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) coatings or PTFE Teflon coatings are high temperature coatings. These non-stick, fluoropolymer coatings exhibit several unique features that make them one of the most used coatings.
PTFE coatings boast of the highest operating temperature at 500°F, a low COF and great chemical resistance & abrasion resistance. Being non-reactive, this coating is ideal for applications that involve holding up against corrosive and volatile chemicals.
