XYLAN PTFE 1052
Xylan PTFE 1052 is a resin-bonded, dry film lubricant. The lubricant is specially formulated for use in low-speed, high-pressure wear applications. It provides long-term lubrication generally for bearing surfaces that are subjected to intense pressures up to 150,000 psi.
The coating makes use of a distinctive dual lubrication system (PTFE & MoS2). Moreover, it is better than moly greases that wash away and PTFE coatings that cold flow. Being a resin-bonded lubricant, Xylan 1052 performs well even in case of harsh chemical environments.
Working temperature range of Xylan PTFE 1052 (continuous) is between -195°C/-320°F and 260°C/500°F.
Working temperature range of Xylan PTFE 1052 (intermittent) is between 195°C/-320°F and 285°C/545°F.
