Anodizing is a process that follows an electrochemical protocol to transform the metal surface to enhance its appearance, durability, corrosion-resistance and anodic oxide outlook.
A few metals like Magnesium and Titanium can be anodized, Ideally Aluminum is most appropriate for Anodizing.
Anodizing done on paint groundworks and pastes gives better bond, when contrasted with that done on exposed metal.
HARD ANODIZING
We do anodizing as per MIL-8625F,BS3987 ,BS2356 in different classes with variety of colors. We can do colors like –BRONZE,GOLD,SILVER,RED,BLUE,VIOLET,GREEN in different contrasts. Finish of aluminium products will give the parts matt ,semi-matt and glossy finish on final stage.
CHROMATE CONVERSION COATINGS
Additional to anodizing we can do chromate conversion coating also as per MIL-5541.Conversion coatings are relatively cheap compare to anodizing and will give a basic level of protection to the surface. Conversion coating can also be used as base coat for any other painting requirements of aluminium parts.
